Announcing the NEW NXTSTOR
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome –Plato, just kidding that’s Bear Grylls.
When we set out to build a platform that connects people with extra space to those with stuff, we never quite realized the amount of feedback (wanted and unwanted) we would receive. After hundreds of conversations and a Reddit thread about what we were building that will always give me nightmares, we came to see that what we were building wasn’t just about storage, it was about building a community. Something able to be used easily by all, that supported those that needed help or wanted to help others. Those in search of a place to keep a couch or those that needed to earn some extra income to pay off that overpriced first house in the suburbs.
What we came up with was the new NXTSTOR App. A platform so alluring and easy to use that my 94-year-old great grandmother had nothing bad to say about it — in fact, she loved my choice of images for a test listing. It was loaded with the features our community wanted — the ability to query by safety features, flexible charges that only required you to pay for the time that you were using the space, a search by availability, and moving support that we’ll be rolling out soon. It also had the features users could count on to make the experience easy like in-app communication between hosts and renters and the ability to create a listing from your phone without a hassle.
So today we are inviting our friends (even those from middle school and the ones we’ve only met at weird networking events), families, and the community as a whole to get early access to the app. We want everyone who has ever looked up at the sky and wondered what it would be like to make $50 a month for keeping someone’s couch, to be able to finally realize their dream. For now, this means getting early access to test things and create a listing, but later this will mean becoming one of our valued hosts whose space is rented and probably becoming a great friend to the team. To join us we ask that you check out the landing page recently refreshed by our one of a kind developer Ashwin, and sign up. After that, we’ll add you to the beta and you’ll get all the info you’ll need to log in and see what we spent all these months pouring our love into.
We’ve come to know more about the people in our communities and we hope we can get to know you as well. If you have any questions or comments, never hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org, it’s really me (Brandon) in disguise.
