Safety is a fundamental part of the nextstore experience. To ensure the safety of our hosts and renters and to make sure that everyone is protected we utilize software that enables safer transactions. This is a guide to some of that ways we’re protecting our hosts and their data throughout the signup process.
Before our hosts are able to start renting out their space, we make sure our hosts are who they say they are and verify their identity using Stripe. Stripe is one of the most secure online verification and payment platforms out there. It allows you to automatically get paid when your listing gets rented on nextstore. It is trusted by the largest names out there like Lyft, Twitter, and Target. Below is a breakdown of the safety features provided by stripe.
TLS Protected: All transactions are TLS (Transport Layer Security) protected. This means your info is encrypted and safely kept during transactions.
PCI Compliant: Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 which is the highest level of payments security. This means your personal data will be secure when using nextstore.
Encrypted: All your info is encrypted and safely stored in Stripe’s state of the art data-center. This ensures both the security and integrity of your information as a host.
We really love it when our hosts get paid for their awesome space! We want to make sure we pay everyone in the easiest and safest way possible. To do this we use Stripe and Plaid. This allows us to instantly send hosts the money they’re earning on nextstore.
When hosts join nextstore they’re asked to provide a payout method- here they’re able to add a bank account through Plaid or enter a routing number to have automatic payouts. As with Stripe, Plaid utilizes TLS protection and encryption making it incredibly secure. For more info about linking your bank for payouts please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
